Unlike other financial institutions, Central Communications Credit Union is owned and operated by its members. Our purpose is to provide the financial services our members need in a friendly, fast and convenient manner. The traditional credit union motto of "People Helping People" is what the credit union is all about. Because we are a member owned financial cooperative and members make up the Board of Directors with no outside stockholders our savings rates and loan rates are very often more favorable than other financial institutions.

We serve many large sponsor groups nationwide including AT&T, SBC, Federal Government employees, U.S. Postal Service employees, HNTB Corporation, Gateway Computers , and H&R Block employees as well as other groups.

While our offices are located in Independence, MO. and Kansas City, MO. we serve members in all parts of the United States.

Central Communications Credit Union is a smart and safe place to handle your personal money matters. Each member's deposits are federally insured to $100,000 by the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA) , the strongest deposit insuring agency of the federal government. Since members are also owners of the credit union the interest we pay on savings accounts is called dividends.

To become a lifetime member of Central Communications Credit Union, if you meet membership eligibility requirements, all you need to do is open a share (savings) account with an initial deposit of at least $25.00.
